My very new pink KitchenAid mixer had sustained some nicks when I was using it, and every time I saw them, my heart sunk to the floor. I contacted KitchenAid to see if they sold a touch-up paint and was told that I would have to take it to an auto bodyshop to be painted over. This was certainly NOT something that I was planning to do.

While browsing Amazon for accessories for my favorite pink kitchen helper, I found these decals. I was excited, but wasn’t sure that they would be of any help. I ordered them, anyway, and VOILA! My pink baby is like new again, only better! A big thank-you to whomever came up with the idea for this very pretty item! They aren’t difficult to apply, and they seem to be ready for years of use. Not to worry, though……if the time comes to have to replace them, there are TWO sets in each envelope……four decals in all!

I am, once again, loving the look of my pretty pink KitchenAid! :)

More than thirty years after his death, Elvis Presley remains indelibly etched in to the American psyche. As the Elvis of myth – an embodiment of the American Dream in the flesh- has become synonymous with Elvis the man, the subject of countless books, articles and songs, it has become increasingly hard to discern who Elvis really was. By combining obsessive research with absorbing writing, Adam Victor, author of the bestselling The Marilyn Encyclopedia, sifts through the competing versions of events throughout Elvis's life and traces a young man's path to immortality.

The Elvis Encyclopedia, the product of over six years of research, was created to help bring order to the massive amount of material written about Elvis Presley. In doing so, it stands as the most comprehensive book about his extraordinary life and legacy ever published. 1. Mowery Says:

WHEN YOU BUY THIS ITEM, IT MUST BE ADJUSTED TO FIT YOUR BOWL, SOMETHING THEY FAIL TO TELL YOU IN THE DESCRIPTION. I AM PRETTY HANDY BUT I COULD NOT GET IT TO ADJUST. IT WOULD REALLY KNOCK ON THE BOWL IN ONE PLACE OR ANOTHER AND ACTUALLY PUSH THE BOWL. I WAS AFRAID IT WOULD DAMAGE MY MIXER. GREAT IDEA BUT POOR EXECUTITION.

  2. Loza Says:

While I initially liked the blade for its scraping ability, despite the necessity of many minute initial adjustments, I was greatly disappointed tonight when the shaft split in two, despite the fact that I don’t use my mixer for anything all that heavy (cookie dough mostly). Be warned.

  3. Diller Says:

A fantastic accessory for the mixer. It totally eliminates the need to constantly stop the mixer to scrape the bowl. I have one of these for every mixer I have. A great idea!

  4. Dickenson Says:

I purchased the Beater Blade to use with my Viking 7-Qt. mixer; my primary use of that machine is making artisan breads.

I love my Viking mixer for bread making, but occasionally use it to make cookies which contain a high proportion of oatmeal. Thus, the dry ingredients are prone to gathering along the sides and bottom of the mixing bowl and require that I stop the mixer, lift the head and move the ingredients using a spatula. While that isn’t exactly a Herculean task, it is annoying. However, due to a stubborn streak and a less than industrious attitude on the particular day, I tried scraping the side of the bowl while the mixer was down and moving - even though I know better. The result was a broken spatula - just as one would expect.

When I saw this Beater Blade, I thought it might solve the problem. Once you have adjusted the Beater Blade, it does an excellent job of clearing the sides and bottom of the bowl. If you mix a lot of cookie dough or batter-type foods, then this item is well worth the money you will spend for it. The Beater Blade doesn’t generate heat like the metal beaters, and, as a result, shortenings do not melt during creaming. The final product is much less “soupy” than when making cookie doughs using a metal beater. However, if you use your mixer primarily for breads, as I do, then the the Beater Blade is probably something you can live without.

I rated this item four stars because its utility is questionable in relation to the cost. Further, I have some concern about the longevity of the blade itself and whether it will wear quickly or whether it will become brittle if washed in the dishwasher.

  5. Moehner Says:

This beater blade works great! I think I am going to purchase another to have as extra. My biggest problem with the standard beater that came with the mixer was that it didn’t scrape the sides and there was always a little bit of unmixed ingredients at the bottom of the bowl. That is no longer a problem after using this.

  6. Meegan Says:

It works really well for keeping things from sticking to the sides… I hate when flour won’t combine without constant scraping and this solves it. My only concern is that it’s made out of hard plastic with silicon scrapers I would have preferred metal like the one that comes with the mixer but so far it’s stood up well under several months of moderate use.

  7. Gerstenberg Says:

Purchased for wife, she is not a professional chef, but one h.ll of a cook. She enjoys the way it cleans the inside of the bowel when mixing, decreasing time scrapping the bowel with a spatula. Cleaning it was not a problem as mentioned by others. Be sure when purchasing, you get the one for your mixer, the adds can be deceiving.

  8. Braun Says:

I absoluely love this product. I was reluctant to purchase it because it didn’t seem as though KitchenAid endorsed it but I wanted to try it based on “satisfied customer” reviews. I’ve had it about a year and have not used the standard paddle attachment since. I make a lot of cakes and cookies. I don’t need to stop the mixer any more, get batter all over my hands and fingers or scrape anything down. The Beater Blade incorporates all batters and additions exceptionally well. The KitchenAid stand mixer is great, but with the addition of the Beater Blade I find I’m using the appliance more often and it’s a more enjoyable experience. And Amazon had the best price!

  9. Dodge Says:

This works great. Does what it says it will. No need to scrape the bowl anymore. Delivery was as stated.

  10. Berkey Says:

Every one I know that owns a KitchenAid mixer loves them. The only problem they would fix if they could is that most times there is a little bit of dry ingredients in the bottom of the bowl when you are done with a recipe. Well now there is not one little thing that I would change about my KitchenAid mixer. This Beater Blade made it the perfect mixer. It really does work, I even bought one for my sister in law who is always cooking and baking. It mixes up everything I have tried perfectly and even faster than before. I highly recommend this product to anyone who enjoys their KitchenAid.

  11. Forsyth Says:

I own the basic Artisan Stand Mixer. I purchased this new blade because I get tired of scraping down the sides. I was a little nervous buying a blade made by someone else. I attached the blade and I’ve used it exclusively for probably a year. It works like a dream. I would buy another one before replacing with the normal beater blade.

  12. Millham Says:

This is a great item. It fits perfectly on my Kitchen Aid and eliminates the need to stop the mixer and move the bowl down to scrape it.

  13. Foley Says:

This is the best thing since the mixer was invented. I made 11 loves of banana bread and not once did I have to stop and scrape down sides of the bowl.

  14. Enright Says:

I like the fact that it scrapes the side of the bowl while mixing batters, but it causes I high pitch squeaking sound on my machine. It is also made of plastic, I feel its a bit overpriced.

  15. Laws Says:

This beater does not scrape the sides of the bowl adequately I still had to periodically scrape the sides of my mixing bowl and it did not glide smoothly it would stick so I had to spray the beater and inside of the mixing bowl with non-stick spray before using and this only works for a few minutes before the problem resumed, nice concept but dose not really work.

  16. Field Says:

This cuts down the mix time considerable. I can now just throw the ingredients in and not have to stop to scrape the sides of the bowl. Is it for everything…No. If you use it on stiff hard dough it will break…of course it’s plastic. I found out the hard way using it to start mixing bread dough and noodle dough, but to date it hasn’t broke on any other dough. I use this as my primary beater and it gets used a lot, and it makes things much easier. I wish I had thought of it, because I think once people try it they wouldn’t want to change back to the metal flat beater.

  17. Jason Says:

I couldn’t be better pleased with this decal set. The decals themselves are wonderful quality - well worth the price, which I thought was a bit steep, until people started bragging on my beautiful mixer! A dear friend in Maine wrote me that I surely had the fanciest mixer in Alabama. My Mom has been telling everyone how talented I am, and I keep reminding her that it was a set of decals - my talent (or lack thereof) had nothing to do with it! With the 5 year projected outdoor lifetime of the decal set, I feel confident that inside, covered up and in its cabinet, my mixer will be fabulous forever! I truly did not want to put it away in the cabinet after “decorating” it! The only warning I would give anyone buying this set is to be very careful as you’re placing the roses - they’re really sticky!

  18. Kyser Says:

I bought this for my girlfriend and she loved it
I highly recomend this product to anyone who loves to bake
