Like all the Kitchen Aid products I have purchased, this works like a charm. I have the K.A. stand mixer, which I absolutely LOVE, but this little one is great when I’m doing something smaller and don’t need to “bring out the big guns.”

I bought this one for my daughters birthday, and she likes using it very much.

If you love cooking but dread the tedious preparations involved, then it is time to upgrade your kitchen with the latest home appliances. One such appliance that should be an integral part of every kitchen is the stand mixer. They are no longer limited to professional kitchens; even you can use them at home.

When it comes to kitchen appliances, you not only expect performance but also looks. Rarely do you come across a product that has both of these, and you end up compromising on one of these. To get the best of both worlds, we at NFM suggest the Kitchenaid Artisan 5-quart Stand Mixer. Once you take kitchenaid professional a look at the features, you’ll understand why.

With loads of convenient options, we feel that you’ll find the Kitchenaid KSM150PSGR Stand Mixer extremely helpful. The ergonomic design of this Kitchenaid Artisan series stand mixer is its highlight. It features a 5-quart stainless steel bowl fitted with a cleverly-designed handle for handling heavy mixtures as well as lifting the bowl easily.

The Kitchenaid KSM150PSGR Stand Mixer also features a 325-watt motor. With such a high-powered motor, we feel that it can not only cope with heavy mixtures, but also blend large batches easily. This Kitchenaid Artisan Series stand mixer also makes use of a unique mixing action, where the beater and the shaft spin in opposite directions, perfectly blending all the ingredients. The Kitchenaid Artisan 5-quart Stand Mixer has ten different speeds for mixing. You can adjust it depending on the type of mixture you want.

Another advantage of the Kitchenaid Artisan 5-quart Stand Mixer is that, it comes with three attachments, namely wire whip, flat beater, and dough hook. We feel that you’ll find these three attachments highly useful. With these you can whip cream, knead dough, and cream butter in an instant.

With a stylish finish to compliment its features, we feel that the Kitchenaid KSM150PSGR Stand Mixer is worth buying.

Need help picking a kitchenaid mixer?
So I think it's time for me to add a kitchenaid mixer to my arsenal of kitchen stuff. Not something I plan on using 24-7, but will be thankful to have it when I need it. Anyway I usually cook for 2-4 people. On some occasions 6-8 people. I plan on using kitchenaid professional the mixer to make pizza dough, mash potatoes, and maybe some fresh pasta...so maybe whipping it out 1-2 times a month. My girlfriend might use it around the same frequency to make cakes, cookies, and I'm sure we might experiment making bread every now and then. Anyway, what size & power would you recommend? Artisan, Classic, Accolade, Professional series? what are the pros and cons of using the different bowl loading types? I understand this is one of those purchases that typically lasts forever so I wanna make the right choice...all help is greatly appreciated. Thank You.~G

Fast Shipping and great product. It is way more powerful than the Artisan series that I first bought. I would advise spending the extra money and getting this one. It is quieter than expected (about like the Artisan) and performs better. I like the extra features like the slow startup and It has not strained like the Artisan did with pizza dough. I look forward to getting the attachments for grain, meat and pasta.

Why I bought it:
I make a lot of cakes from home.

Pros:
I can make a very big batch of buttercream. I love the options for all of the attachments.

Cons:
It bogs down a little when I really load it up but I haven’t had it quit on me. I have to handwash the attachments because for some reason, the dish detergent crystalizes and sticks to them.

You will have this for life. Has wonderful attachments and makes cooking particularly baking easier and with fabulous and consistent results.

My husband ordered this for me for my birthday in the very lovely caviar. I used this well for Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas baking. I made I don’t know how many dozens of cupcakes for my daughters birthday party, several standard cakes for Thanksgiving and roughly a dozen cheesecakes for Thanksgiving with no issues what-so-ever. It cleans very easy, looks wonderful on my counter and as the title states, well worth the wait!

I bought these bowls because I needed a new water dish for my dogs and these were all the store had. I gave up the mid size one to the dogs to replace the stainless bowl that got old and ugly. The other two I used occasionally when my stainless bowl was dirty, but more and more I found stuff I liked about them. The rubber on the bottom is a great feature when mixing things, and the pour spout has been very handy. I wash them almost exclusively in the dishwasher, and they are still like new 6 months later. The plastic is thin, but it hasn’t caused an issue even when full. If anything it makes them lightweight. They are also non stick, which is the main reason I don’t use stainless bowls anymore. These are a breeze to clean, just rinse and put in the dishwasher. Highly recommended.

I have owned these bowls for a little less than a year as of this time. I normally never write reviews but the lack ofdurability these bowls show is worth the review. All 3 have giant cracks in the bottom, leaking liquids all over my counters. I have no idea what created the cracks, as it wasn’t something I noticed until I had liquid leaking everywhere. These have always been hand washed and have gone through less than normal wear and tear (as I own a ton of kitchen equipment.) Kitchenaid is usually a trustworthy company, but whoever they subcontracted these bowls out to really dropped the ball. I’m sure you could pick up something cheaper and more durable at a big box store that will last years. Don’t waste your time.

Bowls are okay but pretty flimsy, they are alot beter in the picture. I would never buy again!
