I have not purchased my KitchenAid yet but children love the theirs so I am giving a rating for them, knowing they have not and will not do so. I did find on kitchen aids website a number of videos that explain how to eliminate the jumping and shaking people have described in various reviews of KitchenAid models. Making these adjustments will increase your mixers performance. Since the mixers handle such a variety of materials and densities it’s necessary to be able to make these adjustments. they also have a video regarding the loose pin problem, which I was concerned about having heard so many complaints of it. Happy cooking!

I bought this product for about 50.00 and, compared with the equivalent mixer from cuisinart and kitchenaid it was anywhere from 10 to 50 dollars cheaper. I am pleased with it overall. It has 10 speeds and does the work I need it to do. My only complaint is that it will not stand up by itself when the beaters are attached but falls over. This is very inconvenient. Otherwise, so far it does a great job.

I am generally pretty pleased with this mixer. It does what it needs to for me (I use it mainly for mixing cookie dough and cake batters and other baked goods). I agree with the other reviewer that it doesn’t stand up well on its own when the beaters are in, which is annoying. I like that there are so many speeds and it is quite powerful (which was important to me when deciding which hand mixer to go with), but I wish that with all of those speeds the first speed was a little LESS powerful. I often end up spraying my kitchen with flour or powdered sugar because even the lowest speed is very powerful. I love the retractable cord and the beaters because they have that square, sturdy shape which I strongly prefer over the `slender’ teardrop shapped beaters which break on me too easily. Overall I’m pleased with this purchase.

Purchased this hoping it was stainless steel. My 5 speed KitchenAid hand blender suddenly died after 6 years of use and was looking for a sturdy replacement that had more speeds. Took this out of the box and it seemed very lightweight and fragile in comparision to my old mixer. ON the plus side the cord does retract and it comes with dough hooks, with some KitchenAid hand mixers you mush purchase dough hooks separately.

I returned this item because I did not believe it would stand up to heavy use and a sometimes destructive toddler and two aspiring chefs (5 and 9).

My wife had the former/much older model of this mixer. After 15 years or so she was having a bit of trouble getting it to operate to it’s fullest ability.
Figured it was a hint for a birthday present and snagged this one up. She loved it ! Keep the wife happy = I am happy !

Excellent brand that we know and trust.
Aesthetically pleasing.
Works like a charm !
Amazon Prime made it here in time.

Couldnt ask for more.

Got a great buy on this larger size stand mixer from Amazon. I was not sure if I need this large a size, but for the money it was definitely worth it! I am not a professional baker, but I do make wedding and birthday cakes for family and sometimes I need to make a lot of frosting so I figured why not. You can make so many things with this, and it feels almost like your cheating when your doing your baking! It basically does all the work. The machine is very quiet when your operating it, and it looks nice and sleek and performs wonderfully. The only drawback to this machine is that it is so large you have to move it back and forth on the counter top because it does not fit well underneath when you actually are using it- and to move it, it is very heavy- if you have problems with your hands or arms, this would not be the machine for you. Besides that fact, I would recommend this product highly.

Love this mixer. I have had this same mixer in green for years. My daughter borrowed it for months so I bought this one for her.

I purchased this item to replace an older one that was destroyed in a house fire. I was surprised when the machine started ‘jumping’ when I made a recipe that called for 6 cups of flour. I never had problems w/ the older one, but this one jumped around so much that I took it back and replaced it w/ the 6 quart model. For $300, I expected better performance. As for the 6 quart model (the Professional 600), the model is sooooo loud that I even called the manufacturer and put the phone next to the machine so they could listen. They said it was ‘normal’. Good luck if you want to use it before the rest of your family awakens. It’s loud enough to wake the entire household! Again, I am very disappointed, especially since this machine retails for $400. They sure don’t make things the way they used to!
