I have seen these units on-line for less than $10. The first one I bought at a kitchen supply store…..it broke. The next one I bought on-line for $11…..it broke. I paid $40 for this one, because the description indicated it wah “the Professional Model, and made of more durable material”……it broke. I think we may be done buying these now.
EZ Faucet is a very good product. It is well made and does and performs just like it is advertised.
Wow.. this product is very good at saving you time and money. I was skeptical at first, easy to install but it drips for a few minutes until the seal expands no problems after. Batteries are still lasting. I have had this product for a few months now and use it everyday. Look people you buy it and it will take some time to learn how to operate. Washing dishes can be a little bit tricky at first, because you have to put finger under sensor for activation. The good thing is forks and spoons are very fast and the sprayer you never use on your sink becomes very useful again. Especially useful for pots and large cans. Water is precious this is a must have product. One last thing shipping was very fast for prime users.
I have been using the Touchless EZ faucet for over 4 years. Although I am now on my third one, we love it. With an inhome childcare, it is a necessity for all the dirty little hands. So it is used 2 or 3x more than a regular household might, which is probably why they only last us a little over a year at a time. It has a button for constant flow too, which can be handy at times.
This automatic faucetis easy to install, and works great. Vendor shipped item promptly.
As mentioned by a previous reviewer (whose counsel I wish I had believed), the item described on this page is not what will be shipped by Small Appliance. The description is for the spiral dough hook, but they will ship you the C-shaped dough hook instead. Caveat emptor.
The spiral dough hook is swell. Works much better than the “C”-shaped hook that comes with the mixer. My one caution… sometimes buying the spiral hook can be frustrating as what differentiates the spiral hook’s part number from the normal hook’s part number is an ‘S’ in the part number. I was twice sent the wrong part! (It was correctly packaged and labled – they just kept pulling the wrong item.) Once I got the right part I was delighted with the way it handles dough. It’s much less likely to allow the dough to climb the hook as it’s being worked – the spiral keeps pushing the dough back down. Nice. Also this design handles stiff doughs better than the “C” hook. Seems to ‘knead’ it as opposed to ‘bang’ it. Nice addition if you’re into bread.
I am very happy so far with my Beater Blade Pro for the 6 quart model. I used it a few times so far and one time was with a thick cookie dough. I am enjoying not having to scrape down the bowl to incorporate the ingredients on the sides and very bottom of the bowl.
Love it! Works great and no scraping. I had heard about this on NPR and it’s all it’s cracked up to be.
Purchased this item for my wife as a gift. She has used it already, to make cookies and icing. What she likes about the beater is that it scrapes the edge of the bowl, keeping it clean and thoroughly mixing the ingredients. This is a nice attachment for the Kitchenaid mixers.
Works well but the bowl lift mixers do not have the spring that the tilt head mixers have and this effects the performance of this accessory. Without a spring to push the beater down it does not scrape the sides as clean as it should. I found a spring that fits and I’m now very happy with the performance. Kitchen Aid does not include the spring because it would be hard to keep clean.
I was surprised at how light weight it is but it works exactly as advertised without dragging or flexing. I failed to follow the instruction to check depth into the bowl before using for the first time. When I made cheesecake the sides of the bowl were perfectly scraped clean but there was a significant layer of cream cheese in the bottom of the bowl. By the time I noticed it I was too far into the recipe to try to cream it back in. It’s a real time saver in cookie and cake recipies – as long as you follow instructions for first time set up! Definitely a worthwhile tool.
