This item was exactly as it was presented. It arrived in a timely fashion. I was very pleased with this order.
Was looking for appliances and accessories for my new kitchen and wanted red – probably didn’t need this much power, but works really well and looks adorable (if that matters to you). Very, very pleased with this buy!
I bought this Kitchenaid 7 speed mixer to replace a cheap hand mixer I had. I was looking for a mixer that had power plus a slow starting speed. I found both in this mixer. I did wish the top speed was faster. Overall I was satisfied with this mixer. A little less than four years though and the mixer quit. We determined it was the digital electronics and not the motor. The motor would still click but not turn on. I had problems with the digital controls for the last several months before it quit. I was disappointed that an expensive mixer like this would not last longer. I will not buy another Kitchenaid hand mixer again.
I thought my old hand mixer, which I received as a wedding gift in 1974, was fine. Hey, it lasted longer than my marriage did! Unfortunately, I broke it while making sticky icing for my sister’s birthday cake. My new kitchenAid 7-speed mixer is so much more powerful, not to mention quieter. I can still hear the T.V. while I’m mixing up a cake. It is great for cookies too. Due to the design of the beaters, the batter doesn’t get stuck in them like it did on my old mixer. I am very happy with my new mixer, and I would definitely purchase another one if it holds up half as long as my old one did.
Yes, I admit that I too am an avid fan of Alton Brown and his Good Eats. When I opened this flat package on Christmas morning I think my husband was worried I’d think this was cheesy but I hurried to the kitchen to pimp out my fire engine red Kitchen Aid. He was right, I was a little anxious, but the flames look sweet against the shiny red mixer and all my holiday guests got huge grins on their faces when they got a glimpse of my custom decal job.
Applying the decals was easier than I could have thought. And I was relived that if I do get tired of the flames I can just peel them off with the help of a little rubbing alcohol. Now I’m ready to dazzle if I can only find a way to get Alton in MY kitchen…
I saw these a long time ago, but never would have purchased them for myself. Yay, I got them from a good friend for Christmas!!! So cute and they add a wacky little touch to my otherwise somewhat traditional kitchen! Those who know me, know that with the amount of baking I do, these “flames” are a very apropos representation of my favorite pastime!!! A cinch to put on the mixer!
What fun! Now my mixer can be upgraded to look like Alton Brown’s! I’d tried the decals designed for cars and it just didn’t work. Thanks for these decals just for my KitchenAid mixer. I bought a set for me and for a friend who is also an Alton Brown fan.
I love the icy color. Takes me back to my childhood. I have gone through only a couple of hand mixers. Bought a cheap stand mixer a few years back and never use the wretched thing because it doesn’t work right. Good will is getting the old one and the new baby is all mine. As much as the “more power” of the bigger motored version of the kitchenaid seem appealing, I know I want the tip back mount, not the elevator mount. I don’t do the monster mixing the commercial grade mixer would warrant. The only difficult decision was boysenberry or ice blue. Nostalgia won out.
Decal was the perfect size for my 4.5 quart mixer. Sellers description was very informative and item was received quickly.
