I was given a HeavyDuty KitchenAid mixer but it didn’t have a bowl. I searched eBay and amazon for a bowl that would fit. I found this bowl on amazon. It fits perfectly. It completed my mixer for a great price. I will pick another one up before the next holiday cooking spree.
Does anyone know about Kitchenaid stand mixer?
I have a 4.5 quart stand kitchenaid 5 quart mixer mixer and want to get a 6 quart bowl for it....can i purchase it seperatley and will it work on my mixer? (yes, i have a kitchenaid)

This is a great second bowl that makes baking go faster when you need 2 bowls for one recipe or multiple baking. It’s microwavable and sturdy. My children love watching the batter mix around through the glass. (I used to have to pick them up to let them peer into the bowl while mixing.)I also did not have to adjust the height of my beater blade (although the manual says you may have to). Thus, I can switch from my stainless steel bowl to my glass bowl without any hassle. The only negative thing I can think of is that this bowl is heavier than the steel bowl, and I have wrist injuries. Nonetheless, I still can use it easily for baking and love it! So I give it 5 stars for fun, easy, practical baking!
Love It! Love It! Why didn’t KitchenAid think of this product years ago? The bowl has measurements which makes it easy to see how much batter you actually have for a recipe. The bowl is wide enough to pour ingredients in without the pouring shield. Also, it has a pouring spout! Dough and batter doesn’t stick as much to the bottom of the bowl, less stopping and scraping (yea!) I am impressed with this product so much that I am purchasing another one from Amazon in a few minutes. I haven’t seen this product in any of the major stores yet! Amazon has a great price for this bowl, believe me it is worth every dollar!!!
An excellent addition to the Kitchenaid mixer. Really sturdy and nice thick glass, I bought this so I could re-heat items in it in the microwave. I have used it to melt chocolate in and to warm up mashed potatoes after whipping them. The lid is really handy too.

EXCELLENT purchase – and less priced than elsewhere. Kitchenaid can’t be surpassed by other manufacturers – they are pricy YES – but worth every penny you spend. The Color is beautiful – Candy Apple Red – Retro period of time – fits in well with my decor. Comes with Glass bowl and 3 beaters. Was less-priced than the Artisian normal price. AWESOME!!!
It is hard to now believe that we lived without this mixture for years. It is beautiful to look at and works without any problems. Shipment was fast, mixer well-packed and protected. A wonderful investment! Beautiful color!
Wanted to get a kitchenaid mixer for years, because I love to bake. Well when I saw this one, I decided this was the one! I love it!It’s Great…easy to use, mixes everything perfectly and cleans up easy too. I’m really enjoying everything about it.
This is a beautiful mixer. My 2nd KitchenAid Mixer. My other mixer is in Almond and matches the tile in my kitchen but when I saw this beauty, I had to have it. Not only does it do a magnificent job, but it is art for my kitchen. If you’re an avid baker and you already have a KitchenAid but are coveting this one, treat yourself. Life is short – you deserve it!
We have a smaller Kitchen Aid mixer that has been excellent for many years, but just not powerfull enough for dough when we wanted to do many pizzas for a large group. I had been reading about this model and decided to give it a try; WOW what a machine this is. It will take care of a large family get together and just about anything that you would want to mix up in large quantities. Great mixer, would recomend to anyone.
I have the KitchenAid mixer…..I’ve used the mixer to make whipped cream…buttercream frosting….focaccia bread….chocolate cookies….pate a croux….AND…..I’m so delighted!!! TYVM KitchenAid and Amazon….(jumping up and down)

i bought this for my mother for her birthday and she loves it. I was bigger than i thought it was but she still loved it and I know is getting my moneys worth out of it!
Was forced to buy a new mixer when my Hamilton Beach could not be repaired because it was too old (35 years). I spent a lot of time reviewing all the KitchenAid mixers until I decided I wanted this one. Then looked around for the best price and found it here. I am a casual baker, but have really enjoyed the ease of using this machine. I can easily double and sometimes triple recipes without any trouble. It is heavy, but once I bring it out for use, it stays out for a while, and I find myself using it more. Bought the colbalt blue because I couldn’t find this model in yellow, but I love it just the same.
I tought I had purchased the right size bowl alas it was to small and I ended up giving it up to friend

The same as the original with a higher-sheen finish on the outside. The original was brushed stainless and this is polished to a mirror finish.
Otherwise it is great to have two bowls for complicated baking or to keep one in the fridge or put in the washer while moving ahead with the other.
I can’t speak to this exact product, but it was bought to replace one that broke while I was kneading bread in it. Hopefully this one will last longer than that one did. I can’t complain about the mixer; it’s the best I’ve ever owned.
Availability and affordable were key reasons for this purchase. Detailed description enabled us to purchase the correct item for our stand mixer. Item was delivered within the time period noted and arrived in excellent condition.
This works great. Does what it says it will. No need to scrape the bowl anymore. Delivery was as stated.
