Customer kitchen aid professional stand mixer Reviews
"Seriously awesome!!"
By H. Brewer
I LOVE this citrus press. My fiance and I became fascinated with fresh orange juice after a trip to europe. If you order orange juice in europe, you can bet it's fresh squeezed. So we decided to get a citrus press for our housewarming gift to ourselves. After a lot of research, my fiance picked this brand. We've had it for a month and I love it. It's motorized, so it is easy to get all the juice possible out of the orange. Best part...it's easy clean-up. There are three pieces you have to wash after using it. I remove the base, the strainer and the grinder, rinse under hot water and let air dry. If you rinse it right after using it, that's all the clean-up necessary. One thing about making your own orange juice...it's a little pricey. It takes about 4 oranges to make a tall glass of orange juice.
"excellent juicer"

This is the best citrus juicer I've ever used. It's quick, efficient and easy to clean. Absolutely worth every penny. I should say that I only just bought it so I'll have to wait and see how it stands up over time.

Which stand mixer should I get?
I used to own a Kitchen Aid, and was always very happy with it. I am looking to get a new stand mixer and I am kitchen aid professional stand mixer considering the Kitchen Aid once again or the Sunbeam Heritage series mixer. Does anyone have any information on the Sunbeam? I am very uncertain. I love to bake, cakes, cookies, pies, breads, etc... but I do it for my family and friends not for professional uses. Any suggestions?

Decal was the perfect size for my 4.5 quart mixer. Sellers description was very informative and item was received quickly.
This is my third KitchenAid – not because they have worn out, but because I donate my old ones to my children who can’t afford one right now. I wouldn’t use any other brand than KitchenAid especially for a mixer. I just used the bread dough hook this week to make cinnamon rolls and it worked marvelous – the rolls came out light and tender and delicious. I’m 71 years old and KitchenAid Mixers are fairly heavy, but I have mine stored close to the counter so I don’t have to lift it very far. My mother gave me hers when I was first starting house and I have had one every since. This model is great if you are a heavy baker. Some models are more for just cakes mixes and mashing potatoes, but this one will do it all!
I couldn’t be better pleased with this decal set. The decals themselves are wonderful quality – well worth the price, which I thought was a bit steep, until people started bragging on my beautiful mixer! A dear friend in Maine wrote me that I surely had the fanciest mixer in Alabama. My Mom has been telling everyone how talented I am, and I keep reminding her that it was a set of decals – my talent (or lack thereof) had nothing to do with it! With the 5 year projected outdoor lifetime of the decal set, I feel confident that inside, covered up and in its cabinet, my mixer will be fabulous forever! I truly did not want to put it away in the cabinet after “decorating” it! The only warning I would give anyone buying this set is to be very careful as you’re placing the roses – they’re really sticky!
Yes, I admit that I too am an avid fan of Alton Brown and his Good Eats. When I opened this flat package on Christmas morning I think my husband was worried I’d think this was cheesy but I hurried to the kitchen to pimp out my fire engine red Kitchen Aid. He was right, I was a little anxious, but the flames look sweet against the shiny red mixer and all my holiday guests got huge grins on their faces when they got a glimpse of my custom decal job.
Applying the decals was easier than I could have thought. And I was relived that if I do get tired of the flames I can just peel them off with the help of a little rubbing alcohol. Now I’m ready to dazzle if I can only find a way to get Alton in MY kitchen…
I saw these a long time ago, but never would have purchased them for myself. Yay, I got them from a good friend for Christmas!!! So cute and they add a wacky little touch to my otherwise somewhat traditional kitchen! Those who know me, know that with the amount of baking I do, these “flames” are a very apropos representation of my favorite pastime!!! A cinch to put on the mixer!
What fun! Now my mixer can be upgraded to look like Alton Brown’s! I’d tried the decals designed for cars and it just didn’t work. Thanks for these decals just for my KitchenAid mixer. I bought a set for me and for a friend who is also an Alton Brown fan.
Ok, so I did not buy this. However there are a few historical issues with calling this a 1942 Navy sticker set.
- The Flying Tigers were originally an American volunteer and later a U.S. Army Air Force unit flying out of China, not a U.S. Navy squadron.
- The red horizontal stripe in the national insignia was not added until 1947. No US aircraft during WWII had these stripes in their insignia.
If sticking with the US Navy theme, probably better off calling this a VF-111 Sundowners F-4B decal sticker, circa 1972. Otherwise an A-10 of the USAF 23rd Fighter Group is more (but not completely) accurate.
Buyer beware, should you be cornered by a military nerd!
These decals are really heavy and the graphics are crisp. I have received many compliments on my enhanced mixer; even a bit of envy.
The one problem I did have on the application was *static* The over-sheet on which the decal were attached & aligned wanted to stick far quicker than I had expected. I had to reposition several of the decals because of this. One they were firmly in place, there is no moving them.
OK, here’s the gift for the cook who has everything. I have a white Kitchenaid mixer. I love it, but it looks like everyone’s mixer. Not anymore. I saw Alton Brown’s mixer on Good Eats one night, googled, and found FlameKA.com. Then I comparison shopped–basically everyone is charging the same price.
I got this one because it looked different from the flames. Also, my husband is a WWII buff, and he got a kick out of this set.
These decals are very heavy duty and thick. Easy to put on, and they’re not coming off easily. The instructions provided are fine, but this is so easy you don’t need much in the way of instructions.
FlameKA ships fast and isn’t a big ripoff for shipping charges.
I know it seems like a lot of money to decorate a mixer, but I am going to have this mixer for a very long time, so break the cost down to a monthly cost, or something that will make you feel better. I spent a lot of money on the mixer, so why not a few more bucks making it special?
You will have this for life. Has wonderful attachments and makes cooking particularly baking easier and with fabulous and consistent results.
My husband ordered this for me for my birthday in the very lovely caviar. I used this well for Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas baking. I made I don’t know how many dozens of cupcakes for my daughters birthday party, several standard cakes for Thanksgiving and roughly a dozen cheesecakes for Thanksgiving with no issues what-so-ever. It cleans very easy, looks wonderful on my counter and as the title states, well worth the wait!
Fast Shipping and great product. It is way more powerful than the Artisan series that I first bought. I would advise spending the extra money and getting this one. It is quieter than expected (about like the Artisan) and performs better. I like the extra features like the slow startup and It has not strained like the Artisan did with pizza dough. I look forward to getting the attachments for grain, meat and pasta.
Why I bought it:
I make a lot of cakes from home.
Pros:
I can make a very big batch of buttercream. I love the options for all of the attachments.
Cons:
It bogs down a little when I really load it up but I haven’t had it quit on me. I have to handwash the attachments because for some reason, the dish detergent crystalizes and sticks to them.
This mixer is beautiful. It works great. We have made a few batches of pizza dough, cookies and brownies. THe only thing that we don’t like about it is that if you are making small batches of things the bowl is really way too big. I wished they had a diffeent size bowl that you could interchange with the 6 qt one.
