I have not purchased my KitchenAid yet but children love the theirs so I am giving a rating for them, knowing they have not and will not do so. I did find on kitchen aids website a number of videos that explain how to eliminate the jumping and shaking people have described in various reviews of KitchenAid models. Making these adjustments will increase your mixers performance. Since the mixers handle such a variety of materials and densities it’s necessary to be able to make these adjustments. they also have a video regarding the loose pin problem, which I was concerned about having heard so many complaints of it. Happy cooking!
Where can I find kitchenaid pro 600 mixer accessories.?
I have the mixer, 1 bowl and bread attachment. That's all. I need the rest of the original accessories.

i bought this for my mother for her birthday and she loves it. I was bigger than i thought it was but she still loved it and I know is getting my moneys worth out of it!
We have a smaller Kitchen Aid mixer that has been excellent for many years, but just not powerfull enough for dough when we wanted to do many pizzas for a large group. I had been reading about this model and decided to give it a try; WOW what a machine this is. It will take care of a large family get together and just about anything that you would want to mix up in large quantities. Great mixer, would recomend to anyone.
I have the KitchenAid mixer…..I’ve used the mixer to make whipped cream…buttercream frosting….focaccia bread….chocolate cookies….pate a croux….AND…..I’m so delighted!!! TYVM KitchenAid and Amazon….(jumping up and down)
plus…the Empire Red it the perfect color!!!
TOTALLY HAPPY!!

This mixer is beautiful. It works great. We have made a few batches of pizza dough, cookies and brownies. THe only thing that we don’t like about it is that if you are making small batches of things the bowl is really way too big. I wished they had a diffeent size bowl that you could interchange with the 6 qt one.
Always wanted a KitchenAid mixer and I bought the workhorse. Simply put, it makes baking and whatever else you would use a mixer to make so much easier! It is well worth the money.
The product was delivered promptly in excellent condition. The seller did everything expected in the transaction.
This is a fabulous purchase. I use it almost everyday. Really easy to operate. Heavy duty. I bought the ice cream maker attachment as well, and all I can say is YUMMO! I saw a few reviews about it being a bit difficult to attach the ice cream blade, however it was as easy as hooking up a beater. (Hint; just look at the length of the two sides of the attachment and match it according to the picture of your model.) I looked at the other Kitchen Aid models, and am happy I bought the deluxe, lift bowl. It makes a large batch for one thing, and the power is incredible. I can make a quart of whipped cream in a minute, and my hands are free to do other prep work. I definitely use the shield when I have a full bowl, so don’t be fooled by what the adds say about the refurbished ones, “that you don’t need it”. (They can be ordered separately though.) With power like this, I will be ordering all the attachments for sure, which will eliminate many appliances. Just another reason I am happy to have this powerhouse. REALLY WORTH THE MONEY!
The associate of Amazon has not delivered the product. I’ve asked them to cancel the order and refund the money.
Every year at Christmas time my family makes cookies from a reciepe passed down for several generations. The cookie dough is very, very thick and has seen the dimise of several hand mixers. Every other hand mixer we have used would only mix half to two thirds of the flour and the rest had to be mixed in by hand, a very tiresome process. This is the first mixer I have used that worked right to the end! No hand mixing required! I purchased the dough hooks for mixing the cookies and have not used the other beaters but I see no reason why they won’t work just as well.
This product is especially useful in whipping egg whites in a flash. Easily attatches. Able to be cleaned in the dishwasher.
You don’t need to buy this item if you purchase the the KitchenAid 9-speed Professional Hand Mixer — it’s an included accessory.
If you’re going to use your Kitchenaid strainer attachment (KitchenAid FVSFGA Fruit/Vegetable Strainer and Food Grinder for Stand Mixers) for anything more than a cupful of food at a time, you’ll need this attachment too. However, it is seriously flawed and there isn’t much you can do about it but put up with it because you really need this part.
Frankly, this food tray should be built into the fruit & veg strainer attachment hopper and not a separate item. Because it’s separate, if you don’t have the tray shoved firmly against the hopper of the strainer you will have liquid leaking out and down the head of your mixer. You have to constantly keep alert so the easily bumped out of position tray doesn’t cause problems. It’s a poor design overall, but better than nothing.
If you’re going to to the trouble of setting up the fruit & veg strainer you’re probably going to process a bushel of tomatoes or a pot of cooked apples into sauce, right? Messy jobs, and this design of separate parts is bound to make the job even messier.
I am not at all impressed with the Kitchenaid system for fruit & veg strainers. I used an Oster mixer for 30 years, with all its many attachments, until the plastic parts just fatigued out. The Oster’s strainer system was far superior in capacity and simplicity. But I do like my new Kitchenaid mixer better… just wish the fruit & veg strainer system could be sent back to the drawing board.
I’m seriously considering using aquarium grade silicone glue or something to permanently attach the tray to the FVSFGA hopper.
Was forced to buy a new mixer when my Hamilton Beach could not be repaired because it was too old (35 years). I spent a lot of time reviewing all the KitchenAid mixers until I decided I wanted this one. Then looked around for the best price and found it here. I am a casual baker, but have really enjoyed the ease of using this machine. I can easily double and sometimes triple recipes without any trouble. It is heavy, but once I bring it out for use, it stays out for a while, and I find myself using it more. Bought the colbalt blue because I couldn’t find this model in yellow, but I love it just the same.
